To achieve its environmental goals, Hino builds environmental awareness into the mindset of each employee at every level. Today, the ISO 14001 environmental management system implemented by the company in all its operations. As a result , on 1 March 2001, the company received ISO 14001 certification as assessed by AJA Registrars Ltd., marking the first such achievement for the company under the umbrella of Hino Japan. The company feels proud to have its contribution to safeguarding the environment so recognized.
